The City of York has retendered a contract to complete the refurbishment of the city’s historic Guildhall after Interserve was removed from the job earlier this year.
Interserve started work on the £9m deal to revamp the building, which dates back to the 15th century, in August last year.
The overhaul of the building included the creation of serviced offices, a cafe and a restaurant, as well as riverside access to the nearby River Ouse.
