National Highways has appointed Costain to design and build a new junction on the M5 motorway.

Awarded through the Regional Delivery Partnership (RDP) framework, the contract is worth approximately £100m over five years.

Junction 22A is a new motorway junction being constructed between Burnham-On-Sea and Bridgwater in Somerset.

It will provide access to the Gravity Smart Campus and a £4bn gigafactory being developed by Agratas, which will be Britain’s biggest electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility.
