Workspace provider HB Reavis is to build a fossil fuel-free office space that promises to be net zero in operation and will feature more than 100 trees planted in 1.2ha of outdoor space, after the scheme in London’s Waterloo got the green light.

One Waterloo promises to be net zero in operation and to offer a greater than 35% reduction in energy consumption through a “lean, clean and green” building design that will support the building to achieve BREEAM Outstanding.

The building, which will be built under an integrated developer-construction model, will feature heat pumps and heat recovery and 929 sq m of space.
