Several FM arms of tier 1 contractors are among the 27 companies appointed to a new public sector framework.
The Total Facilities Management Framework has an estimated value of £814m and will run until January 2029 across eight UK areas.
It will be managed by procurement provider Pagabo on behalf of contracting authority Red Kite Learning Trust.
The framework covers a range of soft, hard and combined facilities management services for public sector organisations across education, leisure, healthcare, emergency services and local authorities

Services under hard FM include roofing, mechanical services and decorating, while work under soft FM services consists of catering, pest control and security.
The framework is split across six lots, with three of them reserved for SMEs.

Jonathan Oram, director of frameworks at Pagabo, said: “While this framework is going live before the Procurement Act comes into force in late February, suppliers and clients will all benefit from the latest procurement best practice.
