Willmott Dixon has secured an £8.8m cladding remediation project in central Birmingham.

The contractor will undertake the work for Jupiter (Phase 2) Management Company Ltd. It is expected to take around 16 months.

The project is using the Building Safety Fund, which finances remediation of unsafe cladding on residential buildings above 18m high in England.

The fund was brought in as part of the Building Safety Programme introduced following the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
