The owners of a Welsh skip hire company have been banned permanently from transport operations for breaching environmental laws.
Porthadog Skip Hire, a family-run firm from Gwynedd in north Wales, was found to be illegally storing waste. Siblings Patricia Gaffey, Michael Gaffey and Joseph Gaffey, were jailed in March for the offences.
They had taken over the business after their father, Joseph Gaffey, retired.
Traffic commissioner Nick Jones said they had “badly let down” their father.
