The last four towers at the former Eggborough power station in Goole, North Yorkshire, have been demolished by DSM Demolition.
The site is under redevelopment for a mixed-use regeneration by St Francis Group and Marshall Commercial Development Projects.
The implosion took place within the perimeter of a secured 350m diameter exclusion zone to safeguard the public.
Heat-seeking drones were used to ensure that the zone was completely clear in advance of the works. More than 50 DSM employees implemented the localised road closures and the exclusion zone, supported by officers from North Yorkshire Police.
