Hinkley Point C has released new footage from the project, offering a glimpse into the work that happens after dark at the site.

Featuring Rob Jordan, project construction director at Hinkley Point C, the video provides a behind-the-scenes view of the night shift that keeps the site moving 24/7.

In total, 14,000 people are working on the project to deliver Britain’s first nuclear power station in more than 30 years.

Some of the project’s most significant milestones have happened at night. In July, the world’s largest crane, Big Carl, lifted the 245-tonne domed roof onto the second reactor building.
