Dundee Football Club has released a video showing its proposal for an all-electric stadium at Camperdown, Dundee.
The new 12,500-capacity stadium is designed by architect Holmes Miller, LJRH and a wider team of consultants.
It aims to minimise embodied and operational carbon in line with FIFA’s Green Goals initiative and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Sustainable features include low-energy LED floodlights and screens, photovoltaic panels, natural ventilation, 100% recyclable seating, a green roof to promote biodiversity, and rainwater harvesting.
It is expected that Dundee City Council will make a decision on the planning application this autumn.
