The CITB has helped a third of Carillion’s apprentices find work following the firm’s collapse.
The training body announced yesterday that following its intervention 553 apprentices had received job offers
A fortnight ago, 1,400 apprentices across the UK were affected when the construction firm Carillion ceased trading.
Immediately following the news, CITB, in partnership with the government and construction employers, set up a project team to assist with the retention and redeployment of Carillion apprentices.
