Temporary building specialist Spaciotempo has secured ISO 14001 accreditation, becoming one of the few in its sector to do so.
ISO14001 is the international environmental management system standard and is the world’s second-most popular international standard on quality management after ISO 900.
The voluntary management standard provides businesses with the framework to continually assess and improve environmental practices, including the reduction of waste material, greater energy efficiency, and the use of sustainable resources.
Spaciotemo’s accreditation comes at a time when the UK buildings industry is under pressure to reduce construction waste by 70%, to meet terms dictated by the government’s Construction 2025 strategy.
