Skanska adopts flexible working

Skanska UK has introduced a new framework for flexible working that it claimed will provide employees with more informal flexibility about where and when they work.

The contractor said it hoped the scheme, called Flex-it, would support performance and personal wellbeing, as well as helping to deliver its aspiration to become a more inclusive workplace.

Skanska’s move towards flexible working began last year with its partnership with sector specialists, Timewise, and its participation in Build UK’s programme to create a mechanism for such working within the construction industry.
