A new initiative akin to the Samaritans for construction has been launched to tackle a the growing issue of poor mental health in the industry.
According to the Samaritans, construction workers are six times more likely to die of suicide rather than a fall. And every year, one in four people in the UK will experience either stress, anxiety or depression. In the most extreme cases, these issues can result in someone taking their life.
