Offsite construction firm Project Etopia has acquired self-build specialist Tribus Homes, along with its Devon manufacturing facility.
Tribus Homes, which has already been working in partnership with Tribus Homes under the ‘E-Tribus’ banner, manufactures homes using the same structural insulated panels (SIPs) employed by Project Etopia.
Tribus is capable of building 200 modular homes a year from its manufacturing facility outside Tiverton and Project Etopia homes that it can provide a model for setting up smaller manufacturing facilities around the country to support its 2,000-home-a-year factory in Ellesmere Port.
