Prater has become the first cladding contractor to achieve BIM Level 2 business certification.
The company has a number of large private sector projects in its portfolio including the Emirates Stadium and Heathrow T4, and is also involved with health and education facilities across the UK such as the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool and the University of Cambridge.
BRE Global’s BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification scheme assesses a business in relation to its BIM capability and policy as outlined in the PAS 1192-2:2013 and PAS 91 standards. It also considers the ability of the business to meet the requirements of an employer to implement BIM on a project.
