Multiplex to start green garden tower in City of London

Multiplex has been appointed as main contractor on “one of the lowest carbon and most biodiverse” high-rise towers in the UK.

Investment firm AXA IM Alts is behind the 650,000 sq ft Fifty Fenchurch Street office project in the City of London. The project promises to fuse nature with smart technology and create a building “fit for the future”.

The 36-storey tower will feature landscaped gardens at ground level, and there will be 40 planted terraces with more than 70 different plant species. It will also include high-spec technology and amenities.
