McLaren Construction has broken ground on the redevelopment of the Kop stand at Wrexham AFC’s stadium, StōK Cae Ras.

The new stand, set for completion during the 2026/27 season, will restore the stadium to a four-sided configuration, increasing capacity to just over 18,000.

McLaren was appointed to the project under a pre-construction services agreement earlier this year.

To date, the project team has completed extensive enabling works to prepare for the main build programme.
