The council has agreed a phase two budget worth £229m for the overall construction of the development, including this second phase of the scheme.

Phase two of the project comprises three independent and two adjoined buildings, which required four complex building safety applications to the Building Safety Regulator.
To deliver the council’s plan for the project, McLaren is using modern methods of construction, prefabricating the facade elements to reduce the transport of materials to the site and the development’s carbon footprint.
Construction is due to complete in May 2029.
Positive social impact
The Ebury Bridge development will create 779 homes – 373 for social rent – across three phases.
Phase one was completed in December 2024, with 226 homes delivered, 100 of which were for social rent. Phase two will deliver an additional 334 homes, of which 228 are for social rent.
The regeneration project will re-establish the Ebury Bridge Road retail parade, provide new premises for local businesses, and introduce new independent shops, community supermarkets and cafes.
New pedestrian routes will also be created, improving connections from Ebury Bridge through to the River Thames.
