Specialist contractor McGee Group has appointed former Laing O’Rourke technical lead Seb Fossey as its new operations director.
He will be responsible for all the firm’s civil and structural projects, from pre-construction to completion on site, and will take charge of its current portfolio of major projects.
Fossey spent 17 years with Laing O’Rourke and held project leadership positions in the UK and abroad, and his last role was as technical leader for the UK construction business. His career has specialised in reinforced concrete, deep basement construction and heavy civils work.
