McAlpine delivers £17m of social value on Battersea project

Sir Robert McAlpine says it has delivered nearly £17m of social value during the lifetime of the Battersea Power Station project.

Social value generated by the Battersea Phase 3A team included £2.4m apprenticeships, £2m education support, £8m employment and skills, £4m job creation.

McAlpine says value was also added through collaborations with its contractors to provide 80 community and employment events, fundraising, volunteering and pro-bono work.
