Mace’s Mark Reynolds selected as new CLC co-chair

Mace Group CEO and chairman Mark Reynolds will succeed Andy Mitchell as co-chair of the Construction Leadership Council (CLC).

Reynolds will lead the CLC in partnership with Lee Rowley MP (BEIS minister for industry). Meanwhile, Atkins UK and Europe CEO Richard Robinson will take up the newly created deputy co-chair role.

Reynolds has previously jointly chaired the CLC’s People & Skills work stream as well as coordinating its response to the covid pandemic. And as a member of CLC’s Steering Coordination Group, he shaped the CLC’s 2022 Strategy. The Strategy focuses on Construct Zero, building safety, meeting the skills challenge, and implementing the Construction Playbook. Reynolds also chairs the government’s Construction Skills Delivery Group.
