Leicester City Football Club has won planning permission to extend its King Power Stadium by 8,000 seats.
Leicester City Council gave the green light to the plans, which include a new 200-bed hotel and business centre and shop for fans.
It will take the King Power Stadium’s capacity to 40,000, making it the 10th largest in the Premier League.
The club has also gained provisional approval for residential flats and an events arena.
