Kier’s £25m contract to restore the Glasgow School of Art’s Mackintosh building has been terminated following a devastating fire earlier this month.
The Glasgow School of Art and the contractor said they had “jointly concluded that the current contract for the Mackintosh building restoration will end with immediate effect”.
“Both parties agreed that the current contract could no longer be fulfilled or completed,” they said in a joint statement.
