Kier has been appointed by Exeter City Council to design and build a new £10m extra care development, the first Passivhaus care home in the country.
The 53-unit, one- and two-bedroom, mixed-tenure scheme, is designed to allow older people to maintain an independent lifestyle by providing a “home-for-life” integrating varied levels of support.
Completion is expected in August 2020.
