ISG is among a group of companies that will track the journey of reused steel through the supply chain.

The move is part of a bid to encourage new circular economy business models.

The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products is leading the DISRUPT project (Delivering Innovative Steel ReUse ProjecT). DISRUPT seeks to explore the innovative reuse of structural steel in construction.

Cleveland Steel and Tube, ISG and the National Federation of Demolition Contractors make up the DISRUPT group. Supporters include the Grosvenor Group.
