In the January issue of Construction Manager and on our website (21 December) we ran a story which stated that a decision would be made regarding the phasing out of the ICIOB membership grade at a meeting of CIOB Trustees at the end of January (“ICIOB members to learn their fate at end of January”, CM, January 2013.
This was incorrect – no timescale has yet been set on making a decision on grade designations. Responses to the consultation are yet to be fully evaluated by the Members Forum, which drew up the consultation and which will in due course decide what recommendations they will put to the Board of Trustees. We would like to apologise for any confusion this has caused.
