The Royal Borough of Greenwich is planning to procure an offsite manufacturing provider to deliver its council house building programme.
The total value of the contract is £50m over 10 years.
The south London local authority said the successful bidder will be capable of providing a turnkey service, including design, manufacture, installation and all other associated construction works and services.
As well as this “manufacturer-led provider”, which will act as principal designer and principal contractor, the borough said it will make a separate appointment for the role of framework managing consultant, acting in the joint role of employer’s agent and cost consultant.
