The government has revealed the locations of 50 schools confirmed for the £1bn first wave of a 10-year rebuilding programme.
The School Rebuilding Programme aims to deliver 500 rebuilding projects over the next decade.
The schools in the first wave include primary, secondary and special schools, as well as a sixth form college in West Yorkshire.
More than 70% of the schools are in the North and Midlands.
