Galliford Try has secured a £56.4m contract to deliver fire safety improvements at HMP Moorland in Hatfield.
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) project includes upgrades to essential fire safety systems across the Category C prison, such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire compartmentalisation, smoke extraction, roof vents, high-pressure misting units and fire doors.
It is the second major fire safety upgrade contract Galliford Try has won this year. In February, it was awarded a £44.5m fire safety improvements contract at HMP Wakefield.
