Demolition work at London Euston station is set to restart next week, after activity was paused as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
Network Rail is to allow enabling works at the site, which involve dismantling the station’s west ramp and demolishing a canopy from platforms 17 and 18 to recommence.
However, the situation on most other HS2 sites remains unchanged with work continuing to be very limited.
HS2 said its contractors were making decisions on a case-by-base basis about what work can continue in line with the government’s advice.
