Dame Judith Hackitt has been presented with an Honorary Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) at a graduation ceremony in London.
Dame Judith authored the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety in 2018 following the Grenfell Tower fire. This influential report has already driven significant policy changes, including the establishment of the new Building Safety Regulator and the Building Safety Bill, currently making its way through Parliament.
Dame Judith is already a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers.
