Consultant Rider Levett Bucknall is to cut up to 6% of its workforce in response to the covid-19 pandemic.
Around 45 jobs are expected to be affected by the move at the firm, which has around 750 employees.
Andrew Reynolds, chief executive of the privately owned firm, said the management would work to avoid redundancies wherever possible.
Reynolds said: “The effects of covid-19 continue to have an ongoing impact on our lives and the economy as a whole. Like many organisations, we are reviewing the long-term impact of the pandemic on our business, especially in light of the Bank of England recent forecast, to ensure the long-term stability of RLB in the UK.
