Industry encouraged to down tools and focus on covid-19

Construction businesses will be urged to down tools temporarily in October to focus on the well being of individual workers, particularly those affected by covid-19.

The Stop. Make a Change event, which this year takes place from 11-22 October, has been promoting sessions aimed at improving the health, safety and well being of everyone in the sector every year since it started in 2017.

This year, amid the covid-19 pandemic, workers will be encouraged to re-engage with their own health, safety and well being and ask themselves what needs to be changed, along with how they might go about making that change.
