This year’s Construction Manager of the Year Awards have attracted a record number of submissions with project entries totalling £4.5 billion.
There are eleven categories in the awards. The bulk of the entries are for schemes in the housing/accommodation and new build/refurbishment categories. There will also be an award made in the PFI category. The schemes range in size from £4 million to more than £60 million.
The judging process for the awards, open to construction managers across the UK and Ireland, was carried out in June and July and the winners will be revealed by radio presenter Claudia Winkleman at an awards evening on October 13. The awards ceremony will take place at Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane.
