The Chartered Institute of Building’s (CIOB) Construction Manager of the Year Awards (CMYA) event has been moved online for 2020.
The CIOB said it had made the decision to move this year’s CMYA celebration evening to a virtual event, as more restrictions are imposed in the UK to limit gatherings.
It said the virtual format would allow it to “safely deliver these important celebrations in a new and exciting way” and that it remained committed to celebrating the work of the industry and the finalists’ inspirational achievements. The event will now be free of charge for its global attendees.
