CIOB’s Welsh Manifesto outlines vision for built environment

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) has set out its vision for construction and the built environment, ahead of the Welsh election, to be held on 6 May this year.

The election will be the sixth since the Senedd, the Welsh Parliament, was established in 1999 and will see 16 and 17 year olds vote for the first time.

Aligning with the Welsh government’s Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, the CIOB’s manifesto has focused on three core themes: Build quality and safety; education and skills; and net zero.
