The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) has urged its members to read an open letter to businesses from prime minister Boris Johnson announcing a new Brexit deal.
The letter, dated 17 October, informs businesses that the government has negotiated a deal with the European Union (EU) “based on free trade and friendly co-operation”.
However, the letter does not mean that a deal has been agreed with the UK parliament, which will hold a vote tomorrow on whether or not to support it.
The CIOB said it encouraged its members to read the letter and that it would keep them updated with any further announcements.
