CIOB creates new chair of trustees role

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is looking to recruit a chair of trustees to work alongside the CEO and president of the organisation.

The new role has been created following a recent governance review. It will last for a two- to three-year term, and provide continuity and leadership to the Board of Trustees, with a focus on agreeing priorities and overseeing governance processes and structures.

Applications for the chair role will be open to chartered members (those who hold MCIOB or FCIOB post-nominal status) from 7 February 2022. Shortlisting and interviews will take place in March, with the role commencing from the close of the AGM in June 2022.
