British Land plans 37-storey net zero City tower

Developer British Land has submitted plans to build a 37-storey tower at its Broadgate development in the City of London, which aims to be net zero carbon in construction and operation.

The tower has been designed by Danish architect 3XN and will replace two buildings at 2-3 Finsbury Avenue with at least 83,301 sq m of modern office space.

The development will be made of three elements: a 13-storey ‘podium’, a 22-storey west tower, and the 37-storey east tower. The maximum height of the west tower will be 115m, and the east tower will be 170m.
