A new website that aims to become the online destination for any contractor, consultant or client interested in furthering their knowledge of BIM has secured the support of Autodesk and Constructing Excellence.
The website, at www.theB1M.com, was launched today (December 7) and aims to be the “virtual” equivalent of the discussion forum provided by the CIC’s regional BIM hubs.
It has been set up by Fred Mills ICIOB, a procurement manager at contractor Osborne, and his business partner and IT specialist Tom Payne. Osborne is also supporting the project, as is Mills’ former employer Willmott Dixon.
