Housebuilder Barratt is to increase its use of modern methods of construction (MMC) to 30% of completions by 2025.
The new target comes after the firm delivered 4,393 homes using MMC (around 25% of total completions) in the year to 30 June 2021.
Barratt said it now had more than 100 sites where it had experience of using one or more MMC solutions, including timber frame, roof cassettes, offsite ground floors, and large format block.
