HS2 contractor Balfour Beatty-Vinci has completed the four huge piers of the Curzon 2 bridge in Birmingham.
The bridge, nicknamed 'Bellingham Bridge' in honour of the England national team superstar and Stourbridge-born Jude Bellingham, is the tallest structure in the one-mile stretch of connected viaducts being built through the Second City.
The 150m-long structure will carry HS2 trains over the Victorian brick rail viaduct below, with a 25-metre-high curved truss displaying a colourful lights installation.
