He was also the company's president of the global engineering services business.

Balfour Beatty recorded growth across its earnings-based businesses in the first half of 2025 and expects increased profit from operations for both 2025 and 2026.
Its average net cash position exceeds £1.1bn and a £1.2bn investment portfolio.
The company now holds a record £19.5bn order book and is supported by an additional £20bn pipeline in key growth areas such as UK energy, defence and transport, as well as US buildings.
