The Bakerloo line extension project is pushing ahead after Transport for London appointed Aecom and architect WW+P to carry out a feasibility study.
Over the next eight months they will provide design services for the proposed four new stations, including Burgess Park, Old Kent Road, New Cross Gate and Lewisham.
TfL expects the extension to be operational by 2040, subject to planning and funding.
Aecom will be responsible for all engineering matters, including civil, structural, mechanical and geotechnical engineering, as well as stakeholder engagement and consent.
