Sterling DCS had launched its Forecasting Module, designed to bridge the gap between planning and estimating.

The Sterling Forecasting Module “addresses a critical challenge in the construction industry: the need to efficiently integrate project schedules with detailed cost and carbon estimates”, according to the firm. Users can import files from industry-standard tools from Oracle and Microsoft.

Its features include:

  • multi-programme management – support for multiple schedules, such as client programmes, construction programmes, and work packages, all within a single platform;
  • revision manager – users can import and compare programme revisions to keep projects aligned with evolving requirements; and
  • re-export capability – users can re-export updated schedules back to Oracle Primavera P6,  Microsoft Project, or Excel.
