Four-year apprenticeship programme offers both practical experience and lecture-based learning
Scottish contractor CCG has welcomed 10 new trade apprentices as part of its commitment to local skills development.
This latest intake brings the total number of apprentices employed across CCG’s group of companies to 48.
Each of the new recruits is aged between 17 and 18 and will undertake a four-year programme to become qualified plumbers, joiners, electricians and heating engineers.
During the apprenticeship, candidates will experience a mix of practical, on-site learning with CCG’s main construction division and subsidiary Arc-Tech, alongside lecture-based sessions at colleges including South Lanarkshire, Glasgow Kelvin and West College Scotland.
