CIOB past president Paul Nash has been awarded an honorary fellowship by the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE).

The accolade is awarded to non-members of CABE who have made a significant contribution
to the advancement of the construction industry.

One of eight recognised, he said it was “a good feeling to be recognised by a sister professional body”.

Nash chairs CIOB’s Quality Implementation Group and sits on the Building Advisory Committee at the Building Safety Regulator. In 2017, he chaired the working group on procurement as part of Dame Judith Hackitt’s review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety.
