The event will include a photomontage of each of the women in their respective roles, with the aim of showcasing the diverse construction careers that are available.

The exhibition, led by NAWIC UK & Ireland and NAWIC Midlands, is expected to feature around 200 women, as well as a presentation detailing their role, what they like about working in construction and one thing they would change about the industry.
NAWIC is calling for the industry to support the campaign by registering for the exhibition and championing the success of women in construction.
Diverse career opportunities
Olivia Jenkins, construction disputes lawyer at Trowers and Hamlins and co-chair of NAWIC Midlands, said: “NAWIC's Hall of Fame exhibition – which is being unveiled at UK Construction Week – comes at a hugely poignant time for the construction sector.
“The exhibition depicts the diverse array of roles available for women in construction by showcasing photographs and short bios of women already enjoying successful careers in those roles.
“It primarily stems from the ethos that you have to see it to be it. At a time when the number of women working in construction overall is continuing to decline, this messaging could not be more important.
“Driving forward positive change in this arena requires a real team effort from all those volunteering at NAWIC and further afield, and we encourage all those who share our ambition for championing the presence and success of women in construction to support NAWIC in raising awareness surrounding this topic.

The exhibition will take place from 1 to 3 October at the NEC, Birmingham.
