Marsh becomes Costain’s first chief digital officer

Nathan Marsh has been appointed as Costain’s first-ever chief digital officer to lead the accelerated implementation of its commercial digital strategy.

Marsh, a former army officer who has previously worked for SNC Lavalin, McKinsey & Co, EY and AON, will also join Costain’s executive board.

Last year, then chief executive Andrew Wyllie said he wanted to transform Costain into the UK’s leading smart infrastructure solutions company. He pointed to rapid change in the deployment of technology by clients in the UK’s energy, water and transport infrastructure to increase network capacity and optimise performance, which he said was having a “profound effect” on the market.
