Mabey Hire awarded BIM Kitemark

Temporary works specialist Mabey Hire has achieved the BSI Kitemark for BIM, one of the first in its sector.

Launched at the beginning of 2019, ISO 19650 Building Information Modelling is the international standard for managing information over the whole lifecycle of a built asset using BIM. This includes strategic planning, initial design, engineering development, documentation and construction, and day-to-day operation and maintenance.

Dave Holland, engineering director at Mabey Hire, commented: “We were among the first temporary works specialists to receive BIM Level 2 Certification for Design and Construction and now we are one of the first to achieve the BSI Kitemark for Building Information Modelling.
